PANEL DEBATE: SUSTAINABLE SCHOOL - HOW TO BRING ARTS AND CULTURE ALONG?

Time: Friday 26.08. 10.15 - 11.30 a.m.

Place: The Light Forest, KulturPladsen

Join us in the Light Forest for a topical panel discussion that focuses on the potential of arts and culture for sustainable development from an educational perspective. The panel consists of key players in the intersection of 'arts, culture and school', who will discuss how sustainability can become an integral part of school life.

The panellists then invite us into the light pockets of the forest to discuss what kind of society we want to be and what that requires of our children and, by extension, our educational institutions.

Come and make artistic and sensual experiments with Danish and international artists in our zone for GLOBAL ROOTS.

The focus of the experiments is our shared planet, nature and world goals. You can build your own wind fish or propeller plane. You can help design amazing costumes from sustainable materials. And you can dance with a dandelion, create art from earth and explore magical creatures in nature. We'll take you on an artistic journey into everything that connects us to each other, nature and the world. GLOBAL ROOTS is an EU-funded project that focuses on empowering and communicating children's voices through artistic expression. The overall aim of the project is to find new ways to equip children for a sustainable future.

Cooperation between Children's Encounter with Art and Kulturprinsen.
