CHILDREN'S DAY 2017 - 20 January 2017

The children of all 19 municipalities will take us on a playful and dreamy discovery of their very special places when the children of Region Midtjylland open the European Capital of Culture on 20 January 2017. The children's creative joy and inventive imagination will be given free rein as they create statements, visual installations and musical fragments about their very special Wishland.

On the eve of the official opening of the European Capital of Culture, thousands of children aged 5-12 from all 19 municipalities in the Central Jutland region will kick off the festivities and celebrate the opening of the European Capital of Culture. This will be done with song and dance under the theme of Wishing Land in collaboration with Alberte Winding, Jan Rørdam and Dansehallerne.
