In 2017 we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation
And on 1 March, Viborg will be the only Danish city to be visited by the 'European Reformation Relay', so the Cathedral Square will be buzzing with life and activities for children of all ages throughout the morning. You can meet Kulturprinsen in the Cathedral Square at the big oak gate, where children from all over the municipality will help decorate the gate with roses and oak leaves in ceramic, each embossed with a personal symbol. The gate will be both a landmark of the Reformation and a spectacular image of children's diverse and individual artistic creation.

Inspirational material
In connection with the project, Kulturprinsen has developed an inspirational material where children aged 3-9 can learn about Martin Luther and symbols. Download the inspirational material here and see instructional videos here.

Would you like to join us?
You still have the opportunity to participate in the 'Luther Roses and Oaks Wish' project and contribute to the decoration of the 2 metre high oak gate that will be installed at the Cathedral on 1 March 2017. Read more at KLC for day care and primary education.
