What happens when you invite four Danish artists and five international artists from Germany, Holland and Sweden to come and make artistic and sensual experiments with children at Kulturmødet Mors?

Suddenly, the seeds have been sown for a colourful and festive Global Roots zone, where you could spend a whole day experimenting with colour, clay, waste materials, sand, windmills and sustainable costumes. All with our shared planet, nature and SDGs at its heart.

Get ready for an artistic and sensory journey in this look back at Global Roots at the Children's Culture Meeting 2022.

The Global Roots Zone was created on the basis of the European project Global Roots. Global Roots is an EU-funded project that focuses on empowering and communicating children's voices through artistic expression. The project aims to find new ways to equip children for a sustainable future.

The Global Roots zone was developed in collaboration with Children's Encounter with Art and was supported by European Cultural Region.

The Global Roots project is supported by Erasmus+.
