The Reformation project "Luther roses and oaks wish".
Viborg Stift, Kulturskolen Viborg og Institut for Børnekultur inviterer til den tredje fase af reformationsprojektet ’Luther roser og egeønsker’, hvor børn i alderen 3-13 år bidrager til udsmykningen af en to meter høj egetræsport opstillet ved Domkirken. Ideen er, at alle børn laver en rose eller et egeblad i keramik og præger dem med deres eget lille, personlige symbol. Alle blade og roser afleveres på Cathedral Square on 31 October and fixed on the oak gate. The gate will be both a landmark of the Reformation and a spectacular image of children's diverse and individual artistic creation.
A very detailed videomanual to the artistic process and a inspirational material to the project. There is also the possibility to participate in a 2-hour workshop with artist Susanne Ahrenkiel and learn how to shape Luther roses and oak leaves in ceramics. There is room for one educator per institution/one teacher per school.

Remember to state: - name of institution - name, e-mail and mobile of contact person - number of children participating and grade level - if you wish to attend the workshop for educators and teachers on 21/9 at 10-12.
21 September 10-12: Workshop for teachers and educators at Kulturskolen in Viborg. There is room for 12 participants, who will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
31 October 9-12: Reformation celebration on the Cathedral Square in Viborg.
As well as handing in their ceramic roses and oak leaves, children are invited to join in the morning singing in the Cathedral at 9am. As there are not unlimited places for the morning singing, we reserve a place for the participating children, which will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
