Spaces of Tomorrow - cities and communities of the future
Saturday 2 September 2023
Sejrøgade 1, Grønningen, 8000 Aarhus C

Would you like to learn more about sustainability, architecture and design, and what sustainable cities of the future might actually look like? Then come and let the kids dive into the toolbox of architecture to create their own dreams and imaginations for the future!

As part of United Change 2023, Studio Rumgehør, Kulturprinsen and Teatret Svalegangen invite you to an open design and architecture workshop filled with play, learning and creativity for children and young people.

Through creative and architectural experiments, we jointly interpret SDG 11 'sustainable cities and communities'. Play with materials, tools and creative exercises will be on the programme as children and young people of all ages have the opportunity to come up with their creative ideas for Aarhus urban development.

Participation is free and the programme is open all day, so come along and let your imagination run wild - everyone is welcome!

PROGRAM:
09.00 - 10.00: Breakfast together
10.00 - 15.00: Workshops for children and young people with local architects and Kulturprinsen
15.00 - 16.30: Opening and mini pizzas

About Spaces of Tomorrow:
Spaces of Tomorrow is a project that works to bring life, play and creativity to children in the local community through workshops on sustainable cities of the future. The project involves children in the design process, giving them the opportunity to express their own ideas and views and encouraging them to think creatively and innovatively to solve the challenges of the future. The project is a collaboration between Tegnestuen Rumgehør, Kulturprinsen - development centre for children and youth culture, and Teateret Svalegangen, supported by the Nordea Foundation.
