Two perspectives on the importance of art

Louise Ejegod-Hansen, Head of Research, Centre for Cultural Evaluation, Aarhus University

In the presentation, Louise presents two different views on why children's encounter with the arts is important: an adult perspective and a child perspective. While the adult perspective is often also a bird's eye view, about the importance of art for society, about the formation and socialisation of children, the children's perspective is more here and now and situated in a child's life.

In connection with the project, follow-up research has been carried out, focusing on the organisation and organisation of arts and culture dissemination by PLC staff. Lene presents the results of the study and gives recommendations for further work.

What can art and culture communication contribute to in this context? v. Christian Have, communication expert and owner of Have Kommunikation. Christian Have is known as a champion of culture. He fights the battle as a debater, lecturer, moderator and author.
