These days, FUTURAMA is in full swing around Region Midtjylland. There are experiments with futuristic future selves and instruments, crazy stories, home-made costumes, recyclable playhouses and construction labs.

All with a focus on the use of residual and recycled materials and based on the ideas and thoughts of the participating SFO children, who help to create the process together with their teachers and a multidisciplinary artist duo. The duo consists of an artist (actor, musician, performance artist, visual artist etc.) and one with an architect/building design background.

In FUTURAMA, the focus is on experiments for both children and adults. Because while it can be nerve-wracking to dive into deep creative waters when you don't quite know what you're going to end up with, if we're allowed to experiment and be together in the aesthetic process, something special can happen.

You can read more about this in Viborg Stifts Folkeblad, which has visited the FUTURAMA workshop at Nordre SFO in Viborg:
