In 2017, Kulturprinsens centre manager Ulla Voss Gjesing contributed to the 'Creative Childhood and Good Lives' series of meetings facilitated by the Nordea Foundation. Some of the issues debated were:

  • What does the research say about the link between good children's lives and robust communities - and then play and creativity?
  • What are our practical experiences in promoting play and creativity through concrete projects and activities?
  • How do children play today and what are the key issues and challenges, opportunities and potentials in relation to promoting play and creative childhood?

You can now read the summary and recommendations of the series of meetings in the report 'Creative childhood and good lives', which offers suggestions on how challenges and opportunities in relation to play and creative childhood can be tackled and realised.

At Kulturprinsen, we're excited to dive deeper into the world of play!
